#5061 Ecoprinting & Sun Printing for Book Artists, with Anne Covell - May 4-5

$ 250.00

In this workshop, students will experiment with processes of ecoprinting and sun printing (cyanotype) on cloth and paper. Working from locally sourced plants and environmentally sustainable materials, we'll focus on proper methods for botanical contact printing as well as how to shift colors and create resists. Finally, we'll use the materials we have dyed to create beautiful, unique books. We'll create several elegant softcover bindings using the materials we have created to highlight the subtle beauty of the printed cloth and paper.

Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5 from 9 am to 4 pm. The two-day class fee is $250 and there is a $40 materials fee
