#2017 Where Zines Meet Artists' Books -with Rachel Curry, June 13-27
See what happens when zines (DIY or self-published magazines) meet artists' books (limited edition handmade books) in this three-week workshop with book artist Rachel Curry. Explore the culture and history of both mediums to find similarities and differences between the two. Learn letterpress printing, bookbinding and mixed media techniques. Make your very own books using these skills and resources
Each student will design and create a mini personal zine as well as a collaborative class zine that highlights the best of both worlds.
This course meets on three Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00 PM on June 13, 20 and 27.
