#5052 Historical Sewing Sampler I, with Anne Covell - Oct 20

$ 155.00

Historical Sewing Sampler I: Unsupported Sewings

In this one-day workshop, students will learn to sew over a dozen historic unsupported sewing styles on a single book.

We'll begin with some of the earliest sewing methods, Coptic and Greek link, and progress with the evolution of the book to cover the archival long stitch, packed tacket, circular link stitch, and more. Once completed, we'll then progress to oversewing techniques such as cinching, weaving, and knotting for structural as well as decorative embellishment.

Saturday, October 20 from 9 am to 4 pm. There is a $25 materials fee
