Students will learn the basics of setting type, locking up the Vandercook proof press and printing as they work together to set type and print a collaborative broadside. They will use an assortment of vintage metal type and choose an archive of printing blocks and images. An overview of basic press operations and clean up will also be included in the workshop.

All students will leave with a printed broadside.

All tools and materials will be provided.
