Open Studio for Letterpress

Plan to attend the February Letterpress Open House, Sunday, February 4 from 2pm to 5pm. BookArtsLA is starting an open studio program for people interested in working independently on letterpress projects. The open studio will start soon with a minimum of five (5) up to a maximum of twenty (20) participants.

Thank you to everyone who attended Poetry + Press, along with the poets who shared their work with us. The afternoon was, as promised, a celebration of poetry and printing. UCLA Professor Johanna Drucker presented a short introduction on visual poetry and typographic invention. Come celebrate National Poetry Month and the vibrant confluence of poetry and letterpress printing.The event features a “flash talk” by UCLA Professor Johanna Drucker on visual poetry and typographic invention.
